Today, I am going to be talking about how to measure success. Now, you might be a little confused with the intro of the video, but don’t worry, I am going to clear up that confusion really, really soon.
This video advice is REALLY quick. It is simply taking a consciousness to how you measure success in your life, in your business and in any area of your life. Specifically, the example I am going to share is from my business.
But what I really want to convey to you is the importance this question: How do I measure success?
A lot of people have no idea how they TRULY measure their success. So, they can’t be successful. You can’t get to where you want to go if you do not know where that is. You can’t get the results you want if you don’t know what the result is.
How to Measure Success – Measure What Inspires You
The way I have decided to do it inside of my business is not by:
“How many visitors I’m getting on my website” or “How many buyers I have” or “How many coaching clients I have” or “How much money I am making”.
Although, those are ALL important metrics and I keep track of all of them, that’s not how I have decided I am truly measuring my success.
I measure my success by how many emails I am getting from engaged clients, customers, fans, etc.

I sat down one day and decided:
“You know what? Money is great and I love money. It fills my business, keeps it moving forward. Traffic is great. I love traffic. It means that I am reaching a lot of people and a lot of people are seeing my message. Customers are great. I love customers. It means that the money is coming in. Clients are great. I love clients.”
“But you know what I really like the MOST? I like to see emails coming in from all the people who are getting the message, who are sharing testimonials. It means that I am really making an IMPACT.”
The fact that they are so touched by the material, that they can share a testimonial, ask a question or simply the fact that they want to create dialogue and open that dialogue with ME. I look at that as my primary measurement for success.
So, I am encouraging you to figure out what yours is and then, to strive for it. Let’s simplify.
If you strive for that ONE thing, if you strive for the most emails:
“Yes! I am going to have a LOT of clients. Yes! I am going to have lots of customers. Yes! I am going to have a lot of traffic and a lot of conversion because, in order to get more emails, I have to get more of those other things.”
This can apply to ALL areas of your life, whether a relationship you are trying to generate and what that looks like, whether it be a health goal, a financial goal or a spiritual goal.
I am encouraging you to look at how you measure your success and to pick something that can really inspire you, that really sings or tugs your heart, that really CONNECTS with you.
