Personal Growth – How to Rapidly Achieve Massive Personal Growth

Today, we are going to be talking about personal growth and how to achieve MASSIVE personal growth in a VERY short period of time.

This tip is very simple: Take NOTHING personally!

Now, I know it’s hard to do. It feels SO personal when someone tells us that something is wrong with us. Or, someone points out something that we are unaware of and that is holding us back, stopping our personal growth, or stopping us from succeeding. It feels very personal.

But it‘s really not. If you can make a commitment to step away from your ego as you, you will have MASSIVE improvement in your personal growth.

Nothing Is About You Because You Are

First, let’s explore why we take things personally.

The reason why we take things personally is a misidentification. We believe that who we are, is this person right here.

We believe that:

“I am Noah Hammond. I am twenty-six years old. I have white skin, with blue shirt on, silver watch, red hair, and brown eyes. I have gone to Ruckers Engineering. That’s who I am.”

So, when someone tells you that something could be changed, you take it to mean that who you are is not good enough.

Of course, we don’t like to feel that way. So, you defend, push against and RESIST your opportunity for personal growth. If you can take away this personal identification with who you are currently, you can massively increase your self-development and personal growth.

The way that I do that is by understanding that:

“I am not this body. I am not this mind. I am an infinite spark of soul consciousness.”

If you want to learn more about that, check out my video called Who Am I?. It talks about how you are the soul.

Now, I only look at this body and this mind as basically, my avatar. It’s something that I can CONSTANTLY improve and work on. I can work on my physical shape. I can work on my mental shape.

I can improve my clarity of mind. I can improve my skills sets. I can improve my mind sets. I can improve my belief systems. I can improve my physical body. I can improve my martial arts. I can improve what I am eating to improve the health and longevity of the physical body. It’s like a suit that you work on and fine tune to make it serve you in your GREATEST possible way.

An example that I can share with you of how not taking something personally can drastically improve your personal growth would come from one of my ex-girlfriends who had done yoga for a really long time. One day she pointed out some issues with my posture and some ways that I could fix my posture and work on it daily to improve my posture. That, to me, resonated such an easy thing to tell somebody to go screw themselves.

Your posture is pretty basic part of who you are if you identify with yourself as the body and the mind.

“You’re going to call me out on the way I stand and walk? Screw you!”

That’s an easy thing to take personally.

The reason that it resonated with me is that I realized that not even for a moment did I take it personally. I instantaneously took the coaching and said:

“Oh, OK. Yes, I will do this. I will that. I will do this morning exercise. Great! Sounds good!”

I had ABSOLUTELY no negative reaction to it. I ABSOLUTELY had no resistance to the advice that was coming through. So, that made me realize how empowering that is for my personal growth and it inspired this video.

I hope you can see some places where you might be taking things personally, where maybe it would serve you to just release that, to take the coaching and the awareness of others that serve you. And, begin taking them on. Take on the work. Take on the personal growth.

The more rapidly that you can release the resistance or the taking offense of whatever the advice is that is incoming to you in your life, the more rapidly you can let go of that and embrace it, begin training yourself, developing yourself, and embracing your personal growth and personal development, the more success that you will enjoy.

I hope that has been helpful.

If you have a blind spot in your personal growth, something that this has shown a light on, something that you feel you really were taking offense to that and now you can simply move past it, please share that below.
